weekends :]

Wellllll! Weekends here are always fun! Although I must admit, some Saturdays are just plain boring. But I cannot complain: laying in bed until 1:00pm and taking a nap that day is a pretty good day to me. ;] Saturday nights we usually do something. We have gone to a festival/carnival type of gathering which had games and tonight we will be going to a blues concert in the village below. Sunday mornings we go to church; it would not be so bad...if we could understand him! haha :) Everything is in French! The church we attend is connected to the monastery....very convenient! Well... Here's a few pictures of me and the boys!

haha, okay I have to explain this picture.... While we were sitting at the festival John decided to go off and play a few games. One of which had a gun, he shot the target and received a hand held B.B. Gun for his prize. As we were walking towards the concert, there was another game he decided he wanted to play. We were standing there watching him... took the first shot, not too bad.... went for the second on. Well I need to mention to you this is a riffle, a real riffle, with real bullets. John thought he had to reload. (He never used a firearm before this night.) When trying to "reload" the gun, he thought you had to pull this little trigger behind the main one. Welll! The gun shot off again, the lady went and lifted a trench coat and John shot her 6 pack of beer!! It was pouring out the side!! He didn't realize it was a double barrel shotgun and had two triggers. Well, need I say...this was his first night using a gun, and probably the last :) He tried paying the lady back...handing her 10 euros, she goes to him "8 rounds??" He's like no no no! haha :)



oohhh but we got a good laugh that night because of John.... and he will always be picked on for this!
