A Saturday Night in Albi!! :)

October 4th - Saturday Night in Albi!! Well Tim took us and dropped us off for a while. We were able to do some shopping; however, everything basically closes by 7! Not much fun, but I was able to get some shopping done.. Of course I took this time to my advantage and departed from the boys! During the night (after 8ish) there was like a marathon going on. There were runners everywhere around the city. They had stands set up, TV screens. The whole works! We really weren't sure what was going on.. But it was neat. People were dressed up at different things. There were hippies, grapes! (they were cool.. they put purple balloons on their backs), umm matching outfits, all kinds of things! It was neat to see. Here are a few pictures from throughout the evening!

Okay, I have to explain this picture.. Jim laughed at me for 10 minutes straight.. literally! We were reading the menu. Obviously, it is all in French. As I've told you before during dinner a course that is served is cheese. The word for cheese in french is "fromage." This is one of the first words we learned.. also a highly used word. Well I was reading the dessert menu and I was confused.. I knew the word fromage, but I forgot what it was and it didn't seem to make sense in the sentence.. So I go.. "Guys, what's fromage?" Then I realized it was cheese before they even answered me. But they got a good laugh out of it.. haha

After having a drink, we decided it was time for a dessert!! :) I decided to try a vanilla ice cream with chocolate & whip cream! LOOK HOW BIG! Haha. I liked this restaurant, and how they made everything fancy! :)
